NFL Combine Camp

The combine, a battery of physical tests that the NFL uses to assess players prior to the annual draft, can make a break an athlete's chances of playing pro ball. Even for top players a few tenths of a second in a shuttle or a three-cone drill can mean the difference between draft rounds and pay. Players like Johnny Manziel, Logan Thomas and Mike Evans train with Ryan Flaherty at Prolific Athletes in Carlsbad, Calif., to boost their speed and power prior to the combine.
