To Save an Endangered Fox, Humans Turned Its Home into a War Zone

The island fox, once on the brink of extinction, was brought back by completely reordering its Southern California ecosystem. WIRED got an exclusive look at how the little critters bounced back with the Nature Conservancy just a few weeks before the foxes were taken off the Endangered Species List.
