Reporting from Bahrain

The day before Valentine's Day in 2011 was an otherwise regular day at work until about 5:30 when my bosses called me into their offices and asked if I could go to Bahrain. I made some quick calls to my wife who is also a journalist and thankfully understands the call to drop everything for breaking news. About a day later I was on the streets of Manama, the capitol, with Times columnist Nick Kristof and former Cairo bureau chief Michael Slackman reporting on the unrest in the small Gulf nation.

Below are my videos in chronological order.
