I'm an award-winning video producer and creative team leader with two decades of news, documentary, and serial non-fiction experience.

I'm currently the executive producer for video at Patreon, the creative economy membership platform, where I oversee all aspects of video: YouTube, social video and ads.

Previously I was the supervising producer for WIRED in San Francisco where I helped lead a team of video producers making some of the most popular science and technology video on the internet. I created WIRED's "Obsessed" profile series and produced some of the most watched episodes of the magazine's sports science show "Almost Impossible."

I was also a senior video journalist for The New York Times in New York and later led Times video coverage of the American West from San Francisco. I've produced, shot and edited news and features videos on all subject matter. I've reported from Bahrain, Haiti, Kyrgyzstan, Sierra Leone, Liberia and from across the United States and Canada.

I also report and write and have filed text stories for the Business, National, Dining, Sports, Science and Metropolitan sections of The New York Times and for numerous other publications. You can see my resume here.
